Administration Support Officer
Location: West Perth
Part-time 0.4 (15 hours p/w) FTE Position (12 months) with high likelihood of extension

Desert Support Services Pty Ltd (DSS) provides a range of services geared towards supporting Aboriginal Corporations to achieve a sustainable and independent future, focusing on building capacity by empowering local and regional decision making.
We are seeking a dynamic Administration Support Officer to join our team. This busy and rewarding role will require high efficiency and attention to detail at all times. You will provide administrative support to the Finance and Business Officer and the team when required.

To be considered for this position, you will have:
• a demonstrated capacity to complete the daily front administration tasks including answering the phone, and other communication platforms.
• a proven capacity to undertake administrative tasks in a well-organised manner, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure;
• excellent inter-personal communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate with Aboriginal people where English may be a second language;
• basic financial literacy skills and an understanding of MYOB is preferred;
• the ability to learn and adapt quickly to using different database:
• competence in the use of Microsoft Office applications (including Teams); and
• a team player attitude and be able to work and have fun in a busy, time pressured environment.
