The role:
The practice is looking to employ an Administrative Assistant. The role suits a dynamic and tech savvy individual with organisational skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the clinic director, the candidate will be responsible for a range of activities such as:
- Delivering exceptional customer service, including welcoming clients to the clinic and answering incoming calls to the practice
- Carrying out intake procedures with new clients
- Performing administrative tasks to support psychologists working at the practice
- Managing the online booking system and clinic email account
- Processing client payments and Medicare rebates
- Ensuring the clinic is well maintained at all times
- Supporting the clinic director with contacting recruitment sources (GPs, Schools and Allied Health Professionals)
- Assisting with our Therapy Puppy Gigi
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role
- An interest in clinical psychology
- Intermediate computer skills
- Competency using Microsoft Office Suite applications
- A warm phone manner
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
- A valid Australian Working with Children Check clearance
- Full Australian Work Visa
- Commitment minimum 2 days a week (9am - 5pm) and ideally 3-days per week
- Availability to commence at short notice
Employment is on a casual basis and pay for the role is in line with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
