Job description

At MIACOR IT, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) specialising in innovative IT solutions, we're in search of an organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Assistant to enhance our dynamic team. This role, which can be either part-time or full-time based on the candidate's availability, is ideal for individuals who excel in a fast-paced environment and are eager to significantly boost our administrative and operational efficiency. A portion of the role will involve working from home, with all necessary equipment provided to ensure effective remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive support on various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing reports, and handling correspondence to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supporting Admin Manager: Assist the Admin Manager with daily tasks to promote efficient company administration, including organizational planning, internal communication assistance, and office supplies and equipment management.
  • Assisting the Tech Team: Occasionally support the Tech Team as needed, aiding in the seamless execution of projects and operations through effective administrative backing.
  • Stock Processing: Manage the processing of stock, including receiving shipments, handling inventory levels, recording stock movements, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability.
  • Quoting: Contribute to the preparation of quotes and proposals for clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs and our pricing strategies.
  • Document Management: Keep an organised filing system for all critical company documents, such as contracts, supplier agreements, and client records, to ensure orderliness and accessibility.
  • Customer Service: Serve as point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and courteous service to enhance client satisfaction and support business growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an MSP or technology-focused environment. Experience in stock processing, basic quoting, and supporting admin and tech teams is highly regarded.
  • Skills: Outstanding organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Tech-Savvy: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to swiftly adapt to new software and systems.
  • Team Player: A positive attitude and the capacity to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility for Remote Work: Ability to work from home efficiently, with all necessary equipment provided by the company to facilitate effective remote work.
