Primary Purpose of the Position
Our government client is seeking a Venue Support Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the operations of Community Venues for hire. As a key member of the team, you'll ensure seamless access for all to our community venues by implementing efficient booking systems and delivering exceptional customer service. Key accountabilities/responsibilities
- Managing the booking processes for Community Venues for hire
- Data entry of customer information
- Responding to customer inquiries via email or calls
- Providing advice and support on appropriate venues for hire for events
- Attending venues to complete safety checks and show people around the venue
- Maintain strong customer service relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- At least 2-3 years administration experience or customer service experience within an office environment
- Demonstrated experience in functions and/or facility management, venue hire, and customer service is highly desirable
- Previous local government experience highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent customer service and ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check as per legislative requirements
