Aged Care Nurse Consultant

We are currently looking for an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse to do consulting work with our reputable client.
The client is in the process of becoming a registered Aged Care Provider and is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse, with Community Based RN experience, to consult with them on best practices whilst starting this company and beyond.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Refining of Aged Care clinical processes
• Advising on best clinical practice around business management
• Reviewing and refining policies and procedures around medication management, client assessment, team leadership and clinical practices in the community
• Providing clinical oversight to community based Registered Nurses and Care Staff
• Reviewing and implementation of Case Management processes
• Review and implementation of smooth client onboarding to business
• Client Management

To be successful in this role:

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Case Management experience
• 4+ years in Community Based Aged Care
• Solid understanding of Aged Care Standards and supporting legislation
• Excellent Communication skills
• Case Management qualification (Desirable)
