An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2Allied Health Assistant to join our excellent Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) team providing quality care and rehabilitation services for clients in both land and aquatic environments.
The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team offering centre and home based therapy either face to face or via telehealth, across Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Cardiorespiratory areas which include individual and group therapy under the direction of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists.
This position is offered on a casual basis.
To be Successful in this Role, you will:
- Have to obtain an Allied Health Assistant Certificate III, IV or equivalent
- Experience working in a hospital or medical setting
- Need excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- Have a commitment to high quality, safe and person centred care.
- Need to be confident in a water based environment (Hydrotherapy)
- Need advanced computer literacy and proficiency
- Hold a current Victorian driver’s licence
