Are you currently completing an undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology or Psychology or hold a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance and are ready to take the next step beyond support work?
We are currently seeking motivated OT/SP/PSYCHOLOGY/PHYSIO students and qualified Allied Health Assistants (AHAs). This role involves working under the guidance of registered Allied Health professionals to support NDIS participants with the goal to ACCELERATE their OUTCOMES from therapy.
As an Outcome Accelerator you will be working with participants in their home or community environment working towards achieving goals set by their relevant Allied Health professional. Each session will be driven by the therapists plan but will give you an opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into use!
So what will you be doing?
- You will be working under direct supervision of a registered Allied Health Professional to complete a series of tasks aligning directly with the participants goals as per the therapy plan.
- You will be responsible for motivating and supporting participants to achieve their goals swiftly, enabling them to reach their maximum potential.
- You will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in service delivery, gaining firsthand experience in the industry.
- You will gain exposure to a range of different opportunities by working across a variety of practice areas.

- Have a genuine passion for assisting participants to achieve their goals.
- Have excellent time management skills
- Be flexible: shifts will often vary depending on the requirements of the participant.
- Be a good communicator – you will be responsible for communicating with paricipants, their families and their therapists.
- Ability to remain focused on the achievement of participants goals and ability to stick to the therapy plan set by the therapist.
- Ability to practice within your scope of qualification as an OA/AHA.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
- NDIS Workers Check
- Working with Children Check
- Full Australian working rights.
- Valid drivers licence and access to own car for transport to and from shifts.
