Future Medical Imaging Group (FMIG) is a network of six radiology clinics based predominantly in the North-West of Melbourne. We are known for our specialised Medical Imaging services, as well as our dedication to providing a professional and personalised medical service in a friendly and caring environment.
We are a part of the Capitol Health community which is a national network of community-based Medical Imaging clinics including the brands: Capital Radiology, Direct Radiology, Fowler Simmons Radiology, Imaging Olympic Park, Radiology Tasmania, and Women's Imaging. We're a team of over 1000 medical experts and experienced staff who put people first.
Our focus is to provide affordable and accessible imaging services, supported by the latest technology, delivered by skilled and compassionate staff.
About The Role
We have two excellent opportunities for customer service superstars to join our small supportive team as a Medical Receptionist in our fast-paced clinics.
There is a full-time opportunity, which requires you to rotate across our clinics in the North-West (Sunshine, Footscray, Moonee Ponds, Hoppers Crossing and St Albans).
There is also a casual opportunity, also rotating across the above-mentioned clinics.
As a Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for
- Managing all phone enquiries in a timely, professional and confidential manner
- Front of house reception / Greeting patients upon arrival
- Schedule appointments for patients and referrers
- Issue patient invoices/receipts and process Medicare rebates as required
- Enter and update patient registration details
- Ensure the reception and waiting area is clean and presentable at all times

You Will Have
- Strong customer service and patient focus skills

- High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Experience in a Radiology background, as well as exposure to Medicare services will be highly regarded
