- Full time, continuing role as Alumni Engagement Specialist

The Alumni Engagement Specialist will coordinate the design and delivery of strategic large-scale Alumni Engagement programs, providing program management and support to contribute to the continued growth and productivity of the Advancement Portfolio. The incumbent collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to create meaningful interactive experiences for our alumni community. They lead the implementation of new initiatives to increase alumni and supporter participation and volunteering engagement, which may involve assisting key alumni, volunteers, international association/chapter members and reunion groups.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- lead the development of strategic engagement projects for Alumni and Supporters
- provide support and guidance for volunteering initiatives to ensure volunteers are connected with key service providers across the University
- collaborate with the Global Volunteers teams to identify alumni volunteers for diverse programs using databases and online platforms
- contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that support the accuracy of stakeholder data
- contribute to program-wide activities and work with colleagues on University-wide projects that contribute to the program overall
- manage a casual, team member(s), or other internal staff for select programs.
- demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast, deadline-driven working environment
- demonstrated understanding of the complexity of the volunteer/professional relationship and demonstrated past success managing those relationships in a warm and professional manner
- excellent project management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and to meet deadlines
- excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation
- strong problem solving, planning and organisation skills with the ability to take the initiative and apply sound judgement to manage multiple tight deadlines with various internal and external stakeholders, maintaining high level of project engagement and management of projects involving multiple collaborators.
