Your Exciting, New Role
As a Business Support Officer, you will hold a key role in the administrative fleet vehicle function, contributing significantly to the efficiency and success of operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of the fleet management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the administrative fleet vehicle function including allocating vehicles in the booking system.
- Coordinating routine servicing and repairs and maintenance.
- Monthly reporting.
- Preparing replacement vehicle documentation and assisting with vehicle utilisation.
- Other tasks include stationery orders and general admin tasks as required.
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably within a government or public sector setting.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in fleet management would be preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Ellipse is preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficient knowledge in Excel is essential.
- Experienced in diverse computer applications.
- Accurate typing with attention to detail.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong numerical skills with accuracy.
