Ao3 Finance Officer (Qld Government)

We are urgently seeking your finance/accounts and reconciliation experience for a temporary assignment commencing with Qld Government asap.  The casual hourly rate for this role is $46.27/hour and duties will have an accounts receivable focus, including:

• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders via telephone and email
• Maintaining accurate client records
• Accounts receivable allocations (and investigation / follow-up of discrepancies)
• Disbursement of outgoing payments/overpayments
• Navigating multiple financial and client software/systems
• Associated administration tasks

As well as finance/accounts and reconciliation experience, you should also demonstrate the following skills and experience to support your application:

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in processing large volumes of work with accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence making frequent outbound calls and client engagement
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment or autonomously
• Computer literacy with the ability to navigate different software and dashboards, as well as confidence using:
  • Microsoft Excel (ability to confidently use, maintain and develop spreadsheets, including use of formulas and functions required - experience with VLookup and Pivot tables highly desirable but not essential)
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • SAP systems (experience desirable, but not required)
• Availability to work 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday
