AP Officer

With a proud and long history of operations in Australia with brands that are a household name, this organisation’s growth has been attributed by increasing its product range into a number of new categories.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Accountant and collaborating across the small AP team, this full time annual leave cover position (approx. 8 weeks) is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast paced, varied, full function AP role which involves many transactions across multiple accounts. Ideally you will have experience for a large organisation in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities will include:
  

• Full function AP
• Managing AP inbox
• G/L Coding
• Vendor maintenance
• Creating new Accounts
• Supplier statement/credit card recs
• Payment runs across multiple entities
• Manual Invoice processing (high volume, 300-500 p/w)
• Input Invoice data to system
• Support the month end process by providing supporting documentation for month end journals
• Ensuring agreed supplier terms with payments are adhered to

  

About You

To be a successful applicant you will have 3-5 years’ AP experience in a similar position, and previously worked in end-to-end AP for a large organisation with multiple entities.  

Other attributes required;
 

• Ability to work autonomously and in a team 
• High Attention to detail
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills 
• 3-5 Years prior experience in a similar role
