This role will work within the SEA2273 sub program of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), Military Systems Division, Defence Digital Group; Department of Defence. The duties of an APS 4 Project Support Officer occupation in Defence include the following:
- Understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks and initiatives.
- Ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately and its application to the project.
- Provide administrative and Project Support, including project coordination, project governance, document management, and working in a team.
- Accountable for the operation of and maintenance of document and information management systems and databases, including Microsoft office suite applications, Objective, Teams and Service Now.
- Assist in implementing initiatives across the project to improve delivery.
- Ability to establish positive and effective working relationships within internal and external project stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines to achieve the projects objectives.
- Ability to be proactive and a self-starter; identifying opportunities for improvement and take responsibility for own work.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required and within reason.
