Branch:
The APS4 Executive Assistant will work in the Enterprise Architecture and Governance Branch and the ICT Integrity Transformation Delivery Branch.
About the role:
The APS4 Executive Assistant is accountable under general direction to undertake moderately complex activities and tasks within established procedures and guidance. It will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders. You will be required to apply well-established policy, principles, practices, and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to Agency's objectives.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Completing operational and/or administrative tasks of moderate complexity or difficulty.
- Diary and email management, responding to changing priorities and timeframes.
- Preparing replies to correspondence, briefing material and handling confidential papers.
- Scheduling meetings and preparing documentation for committees and projects.
- Undertaking research and investigations as requested.
- Coordinating official meetings, travel arrangements and official functions on behalf of the branch, Regional Manager, and other Agency staff.
- Providing high level administrative support on personnel and financial matters within the Agency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in an EA or similar support role
- Strong administration / coordination support experience
- Very strong calendar management and coordination skills
- Proactive approach to ways of working
- Government experience
- Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work within and across teams, the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks in an efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
