Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of procurement documentation, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and verify accuracy and completeness, including pricing, specifications, and terms and conditions.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in procurement processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and clarify requirements, while establishing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships.
- Provide high-level administrative and procurement support, managing confidential and sensitive information, and deliver support and advice on compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), guidelines, and policies to ensure value-for-money outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and contribute to the continuous development of procurement processes, providing quality and timely advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and professional document writing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high volume requests, multitasking effectively, and maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in government procurement, ensuring compliance and efficiency in processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, fostering positive and productive working relationships.
