APS6 Senior L&D Advisor

Senior L&D Advisor required to start immediately, Brisbane CBD, 6 month contract

Your new company 

We have partnered with a Government Department who are focussed on protecting and enhancing the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people receiving aged care.  Due to ongoing projects, they require a Senior L&D Advisor to lead the analysis, design, and development of a range of learning programs for their employees.

Your new role 

This role will report into the Assistant Director People & Culture and key duties will include:

• Providing a high level of learning (instructional) design capability in the analysis, design, and development of learning solutions, including eLearning courses; face-to- face learning products such as facilitator guides and learner guides and workbooks
• Creation of digital learning assets 
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure learning solutions remain responsive and relevant 
• Provide expert advice, assistance and support 
• Project manage learning projects and activities

What you'll need to succeed 

To be successful for this role you will ideally possess:

• Demonstrated experience in the analysis, design and delivery of technical learning programs within a regulatory environment
• Demonstrated experience in formal (learning) instructional design techniques and processes that are based on adult learning principles and practice  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to use these to develop productive working relationships with internal stakeholders 
• Experience utilising rapid eLearning / authoring tools 
• Intermediate skills in common Microsoft Office365 suite programs 
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
