APS6 Senior Web and Communication Officer

Our fed gov seeking an APS6 Senior Web and Communication Officer to join their dynamic team.
Key Duties:

• Prepare written content for web pages, industry newsletters, blogs, social media, and webinars.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content consistency, currency, and accuracy.
• Manage content projects, including keyword planning, accessibility, content design, and co-writing.
• Build relationships with key business areas and provide advice on best practice web experience.
• Develop and implement a forward work plan for external communications in the Medical Devices Program.
• Use analytics and feedback to inform content improvements for the medical devices pages on the TGA website.
• Lead team process improvement projects.
• Support continuous improvement of content and publishing processes with the Web Experience Section and Transformation Program.
• Contribute to the implementation of TGA and Office of Drug Control Website Redevelopment Projects.

• Proficient identification and resolution of interconnected issues, enhancing service quality.
• Demonstrates professionalism and discretion in alignment with APS Values and Code of Conduct.
• High-level written and oral communication skills, combined with excellent attention to detail; ability to work independently and within a small, agile multidisciplinary team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in managing content projects in an Australian Government setting, including keyword planning, content mapping, accessibility, content design and co-writing.
• Demonstrated experience tailoring content for specific stakeholder groups.

Highly Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working in a regulatory environment.

Mandatory Skills and/or Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
