As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian.

A new role awaits

We are looking for a highly motivated APS6 Technical Writer to join our Enterprise Architect and Governance Branch.

The branch is responsible for supporting the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) by providing centralised communication, risk analysis, reporting and assurance activities. Additionally, the team ensures adherence to established policies and procedures as well as preparing briefs for the Chief Information Officer.

Where you can add value
In this role, you will play an instrumental part by creating clear, concise, and user-friendly communication that supports the OCIO to effectively reach out to its stakeholders.  Your communications expertise will help you to  offer written deliverable for ICT Governance, Risk, Assurance and Communications.

•    Quality Assurance: Ensure all Office of the Chief Information Officer documents adhere to NDIA standards for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Conduct regular reviews and updates to maintain the relevance of published content.
•    User-Centric Communication: Develop targeted communication materials with a focus on user experience, ensuring that complex Office of the Chief Information is presented and meets Plain English and Accessibility guidelines for a range of audiences.
•    Content Management: Utilise content management systems (Confluence, SharePoint, Intranet) to organise Office of the Chief Information Officer documentation, ensuring easy access and retrieval.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
