Your new company Our client is an Ipswich-based government organisation whose strategy is to build community engagement through collaborative conversation. They work across planning and property, civil infrastructure, flood recovery and emergency management projects. They are looking for an Asset Information Officer to join their Asset and Infrastructure services team working across a range of projects. Your new role
Review, analyse and process civil infrastructure as-constructed plans/drawings using digital tools such as GIS, Autocad and 12D
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure as-constructed plans and information packages meet the specified quality and submission timeframes
Research and provide recommendations on how to effectively capture civil infrastructure asset data in the relevant systems
Undertake site inspections to validate infrastructure asset data and information
Undertake asset mapping using spatial systems and tools
Work closely with the Asset Engineers/Officers in asset data cleansing and quality improvement
What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will ideally have the following:
Experience in civil engineering or spatial mapping industry
Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or spatial science
Sound knowledge and understanding of civil infrastructure design and software applications (Autocad, 12D, GIS)
