Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Road and Tree Services team is seeking an Asset Officer.
Purpose:
In this position, you will manage the planning, project management and delivery of road restoration works. You will implement best practice project management systems and processes and ensure assigned restoration are delivered within budgeted year.
About the role:
- Coordinate and administer the restoration of Council’s road reserve assets to the standard of quality, safety and efficiency required by the community.
- Schedule and issue work in accordance with Council’s standards and policies.
- Undertake inspection, monitoring and reporting to ensure restoration works are delivered as per Council Standard and within budget
About you:
- Demonstrated relevant experience and/or appropriate tertiary qualifications
- Sound knowledge of restoration processes, public utility procedures and road pavement
rehabilitation practices. - Excellent computer skills including ability to use Microsoft suite, Council’s corporate software (TechOne, Power Budget) and GIS systems (ArcMap).
