Your new role
Looking for an Assistant Accountant with Audit experience to join the finance team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Fixed Assets Management:
- Ensure accurate processing of fixed assets transactions.
- Handle fixed assets month-end activities promptly.
- Manage the Fixed Assets helpdesk and respond to queries efficiently.
- Statutory Reporting:
- Assist the Financial Accountant in preparing half-year and full-year statutory fixed assets reports.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
- Prepare and manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations within specified deadlines.
- Clear reconciling items promptly.
- Audit Support:
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during mid-year and year-end audits.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Working towards a CA or CPA qualification.
- Experience:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant.
- Ideally, audit experience (preferably from a big 4 firm).
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- High level of personal integrity, initiative, and motivation.
- Adaptability in written and verbal communication to engage diverse audiences
