AddressMARS Recruitment are partnering exclusively with a NFP organisation in their search for an Assistant Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop within this fast-paced, tech savvy organisation. The company offers a flexible hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
The Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Process month-end journals
- Assist with month-end management reporting
- Manage shared inbox and assist with accounts queries
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Ad-hoc support to the wider finance team
The Requirements:
- Accounting degree qualified
- Good IT skills, including Excel
- Experience with Xero is desirable but not essential
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
