Our client is a leader in the plant and machinery hire industry, based in Ravenhall. Due to rapid growth they are in need of an Assistant Accountant to come on board on a temp to perm basis.
The Role
- Month End.
- General Ledgers.
- Daily and monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assisting with tax compliance including BAS, Payroll tax, FBT returns, etc.
- Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts, statutory accounts, and audit.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
The Candidate
- 4 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience using MYOB and Microsoft Dynamics.
- A Bachelor/ Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Studying towards CPA/CA.
- Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetables
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and schedule activities to optimise time and resource utilisation.
- Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
