We are seeking a motivated and Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. The ideal candidate will be an adaptable and resilient team player, capable of integrating seamlessly into our existing financial operations.
Key Attributes and Qualifications:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in Business/Accounting (or at least 70% completed)
- Experience in managerial and/or financial accounting is advantageous, but not essential
- Proficiency in accounts payable and general ledger reconciliation is advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- CPA/CA qualified or intending to work towards upon completion of university studies
- Familiarity with SAP / QuickBooks is advantageous, but not essential
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the financial team to ensure smooth operation of financial systems
- Contribute to maintaining a high level of confidentiality and security in financial operations
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
- Execute managerial and financial accounting tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Oversee accounts payable and efficiently manage general ledger reconciliation
- Provide support in adhering to auditing principles and accounting standards
