Midwich APAC is one of the Group’s fastest growing and strategically important regions. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable person to join our supportive & friendly finance team based in our new office in Chatswood CBD (From February).
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position would suit a person who enjoys working in a supportive small team environment. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the role will be process invoices & goods receipted from suppliers in the ERP. You will also be required to compile and lodge monthly supplier claim information with our suppliers, process invoices and prepare weekly payment runs,.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile supplier invoices
- Process goods/stock receipted documents and invoices in the ERP.
- Generate sales reports and identify potential price claims.
- Coordinate with the sales team to obtain monthly price claims information.
- Identify supporting documents to support price claims
- Lodge price claims on the supplier portal
- Prepare bank payments for review and authorisation
- Ad hoc admin duties
ABOUT YOU
Your Experience:
- Not less than 3 years relevant experience in processing high-volume of invoices/data, and prepare bank payments
- Mature outlook and able to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communicator, practical, pro-active, hands-on
- Attention to detail in processing data
- Knowledge of accounting systems/ERPs such as Netsuite, Dynamics 365, Sage, SAP
- Proficient in excel a must
Qualification:
- Diploma or degree in accounting
- Studying towards an accounting qualification welcome
- We will consider applicants who may not have the qualification but have experience in a similar role
