Your new company:
This leading Australian company that is currently in a growth phase is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their high performing finance team on a full-time permanent basis. Based in Fortitude Valley, their office is conveniently located close to public transport and to a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with month-end processing including bank & general ledger reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports
- Cash flow reporting
- Assisting with preparation and lodging monthly BAS statements
- Assisting with budgets
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Completed Degree and have ideally commenced your CPA or CA studies
- Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
