They are currently seeking a talented Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise and skills, contributing to meaningful and impactful work.
The Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end financial control for underlying Property Funds.
- Prepare year-end financial statements.
- Maintain weekly and annual cash flow forecasts.
- Create monthly profit and loss financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations within MRI and Xero.
- Post journals to accurately update trial balances of properties and property funds.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and explaining variances.
- Calculating distributions for investors and prepare monthly and quarterly investor reports.
The Requirements:
- Possessing 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, property experience is preferable.
- Part CPA qualified or has plans to undertake studies.
- Keen eye for detail and showcasing multitasking abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
- Exhibiting strong Excel skills and familiarity with a widely used ERP system (preferably MRI and Xero).
