The purpose of this role is to provide professional advice and support to BCE schools in financial management, completion of internal and external reporting requirements and in the operation and enhancement of school financial systems and accounting processes. This support is predominantly via Microsoft Teams/telephone.
Your key responsibilities :
- Provide help desk and training support for the financial components of school information systems
- Provide advice and support to schools on accounting procedures and controls
- Support the maintenance and development of financial components within school information systems
- Support schools with the preparation and lodgement of school financial accountabilities and census returns
- Assist with school financial internal reviews/audits as required
- Provide advice and direction on the development of school financial resources.
- Proven experience working in a financial capacity at a school is desirable
- Experience using eMinerva and Microsoft D365 software will be highly regarded
- Customer service focus
- Demonstrated ability to working effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build collaborative working relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree qualification in accounting, commerce, business or a relevant field preferred.
