SalaryEdward Mann is recruiting on behalf of a national not-for-profit based in Parramatta. They are looking for a temporary Assistant Accountant for an initial period of 6 months, but with a possibility for going permanent for exceptional candidates.
The company encourages a strong hybrid working environment. Currently 4 days from home, 1 in office
This is paying on an hourly basis up to circa $55 p/h inclusive of Super.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of month end and year end accounts. Including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
- Bank reconciliations and weekly cashflow reporting.
- Reconciliation of general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
- Oversight of AP and AR
- Assisting with fixed asset register maintenance.
- Managing intercompany transactions.
- ABS returns.
Candidate Requirements:
- Broad Accounting skillset across month end, AP and AR
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communicator skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player and willing to help in multiple areas.
