AddressOur client is a joint venture between leading infrastructure providers working nationally. Due to a current workload, they are seeking 3 x highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join their current internal team as an Assistant Accountant.
This is a short-term position with a time frame of approximately 2 months however offering an immediate start based out of South Brisbane location with access to public transport working with a team of 30+. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare cash flow projections
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare and submit tax returns and compliance documents
- Assist with the preparation for audits
- Reporting and assisting with work packages
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- CPA or CA certification (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
