AddressSoap Solutions is looking for a motivated accounts all-rounder with a specific focus on accounts payable processing:
Accounts Payable
- Undertake timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including supplier invoices and expense claims.
- Reconcile and process credit card transactions and process out-of-pocket reimbursements.
- Generating payment batches ready for processing and issuance of remittance advice for paid invoices.
- Prepare reporting on purchases for management review
Accounts Receivable
- Assist in processing of sales invoices, receipting and processing of credit notes.
- Assist in processing of customer rebate claims, inclusive of appropriate record keeping and review of claims for reasonableness and accuracy.
- Prepare reporting on rebate claims processed and paid for management review
- Update customer pricing in accounting system as instructed by sales team
Other
- Assist in timely completion of bank reconciliation for AP Payments and customer receipts
- Assist in month end close (provision of unprocessed supplier invoices for accrual generation, ensure transaction processing completed prior to month end close).
- Assist in any ad hoc reporting requirements
- Assist in management of MYOB Advanced MRP system as system administrator
- Assist in driving forward efficiency through automation of processes and digitisation of record keeping.
- Identify, propose and deliver process improvements as appropriate.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years' experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Officer role.
- Experience with accounting systems and Excel.
- Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- FMCG experience favourably viewed
- Accumatica/MYOB Advanced experience favourably viewed but non-essential
- Strong punctuality and reliability. The manufacturing site is located in Cromer, Sydney. Proximity to our site will be considered. It is advantageous to reside no more than 30 mins from the site.
- Successful candidate will be required to work on site in the office
- Must have full Australian working rights, sponsorship will not be offered for this position
