Who we are
The Establishments and HR Reporting section comprises two sub-sections:
1. Establishments - this team is responsible for the management of the department's organisational structure and position management within the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS), shaping the way the department is structured and operates. The team provides critical services to support the onboarding of new employees to ensure they can access IT systems, network drives and have appropriate delegations to perform duties.
2. Workforce Reporting and Analytics - this team is responsible for ensuring the department is well placed to make good decision using reliable, robust data supported by meaningful workforce metrics, analytics, and insights.

The Job
The Assistant Director of the Establishments sub-section is responsible for:
• leading a team to provide timely technical human resources support within the department's Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS), Aurion, managing critical human resource functions
• supervising, mentoring, and building capability for a small team in a fast-paced, high-energy, high-demand area of HR
• establishing and maintaining strong relationships, working effectively with a broad range of internal stakeholders to achieve departmental people priorities and team goals
• developing strategic frameworks that support the HR function within the team and departmental wide, to assist our workforce through position and organisational management, whilst considering the impacts to broader stakeholders within the department
• engaging and working with Aurion consultants for enhancements to the HRMIS, including quality assurance testing of Aurion updates, and identifying opportunities to improve our service delivery to build more effective relationships with our stakeholders and improve the user experience of the HRMIS Systems.
