NSW Health supports flexible work arrangements, the location of this role may be successfully negotiated within the Northern New South Wales Local Health District sites.
You'll be be performing a primary role in the strategic management of financial resources, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of analytical, reviewing and reporting requirements to support Budget Holders whilst maintaining professional relationships, efficient processes to support the LHD's objectives.
If you have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards these, eligible for membership of recognised professional accounting body and/or relevant experience in relation to Management Accounting. Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
- Demonstrated strong management accounting experience in a large and complex health organisation with high-level problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated understanding of hospital funding methods including Activity Based Funding
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using financial management systems and high-level computing skills including proven experience in Excel and Power BI for data manipulation
- Demonstrated proficiency in using financial software and systems, preferably with experience using NSW Health financial systems or similar platforms
