PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
• Planning, developing, and coordinating Kawasaki locally procured genuine accessories and merchandise.
• Undertake administration tasks related to Kawasaki Visual Identity and customer experience across the dealer network.
• Assist in the evaluation and administration of dealer performance related to visual identity and customer experience.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator (Digital Content & Planning) and Marketing Coordinator (Press & PR) about Kawasaki content and communication.
• Engage with the marketing team for strategic activities.
REPORTING STRUCTURE & COMMUNICATION:
The Marketing Department operates within the broader Sales & Marketing Department.
The role sits in the Marketing Department.
• Reports to (Primary): National Sales & Marketing Manager
• Reports to (Secondary): Marketing - Assistant Manager

MAIN TASKS
The Marketing Coordinator will have tasks across four main areas.
1. Merchandise, Accessories & Apparel
• Plan, develop, procure accessories, merchandise, and apparel for sale through Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd.
• Undertake market evaluation to identify seasonal trends and customer preferences.
• Establish pricing and sales strategies for accessories and merchandise.
• Monitor sales performance of procured products and recommend inventory controls.
• Manage the Team Green Riders branding and welcome pack.
2. Branding & Customer Experience
• Monitor Kawasaki customer experience using various platforms (customer survey, social media, etc).
• Recommend enhancements to the dealership environment to continuously improve the Kawasaki experience for customers.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Specialist to confirm the design of Visual Identity items and signage in dealerships.
• Managing dealership visual identity for brand consistency.
3. Marketing and Sales Events
• Collaborating with the Kawasaki state manager to plan and execute regular events for customers at Kawasaki dealerships.
• Assist in organizing sales and marketing events as required.
• Prepare and promote mechanised and apparel for nominated events.
4. Coordination of Special Projects and Team Green Riders
• Undertake special projects as assigned. These projects will be related to special apparel, merchandise and accessories that enhance the Kawasaki brands.
• Track and manage the Team Green Rider program; distribution of Welcome Packs, gathering of rider information, coordinate website publication of Team Green riders, monitor rider results.
ACCOUNTABILITY / RESPONSIBILITY
The Marketing Coordinator will be accountable for the following:
• Coordinate the procurement of locally sourced merchandise and apparel.
• Communicating to the dealer network and customers about available items.
• Understand the range of Genuine Accessories available for Kawasaki models.
• Monitor the Kawasaki online store (operated externally).
• Manage and report on Kawasaki customer experience initiatives.
• Manage the Visual Identity for Supported Teams, Ambassadors and Team Green Riders
JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES
• Skilled with written and spoken English.
• Experience in accessories, spare parts, apparel, or merchandise is an advantage.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and associated email system.
• Experience and/or qualification in administration, business, or marketing.
• An understanding of the motorcycle, Jet Ski, and/or agricultural market segment is an advantage.
• Willing and able to learn the required computers systems.
• Able to travel for events - some weekend work is involved.
• Willingness to assist at trade shows and dealer events.
• Comfortable working with a team in an open plan environment.
• Ability to plan a project and work it through to completion, within a timeline.
