EWIS Maritime SPO has an opportunity for a professional, motivated APS6 Assistant Project Manager to join a collaborative, dynamic team. This position may be based in Russell ACT, Orchard Hills NSW, Edinburgh SA or Pinkenba QLD.
As Assistant Project Manager, you will:
- Work closely with Defence industry managing procurement exercises and contracts that come in all shapes, sizes and complexity.
- Support management of schedule, risk, budget and resources, preparation of briefings, submissions, reports and returns relating to the project progress.
- Provide input into the development of project planning, performance, cost and schedule documents and work breakdown structures This role is part of a career pathway in project management suited to a self-starter who actively engages in self-improvement and professional development.
Our Team
EWIS-Maritime SPO currently manages a number of electronic warfare systems fitted to both the surface and sub-surface fleet, such as the Nulka Decoy product and various Sensors and Electronic Attack products in both acquisition and sustainment phases. The SPO delivers these capabilities to both the Australian Defence Force and United States Navy.
EWIS-Maritime SPO is widely dispersed across Australia with these positions based at either Russell ACT, Edinburgh SA, Orchard Hills NSW or Pinkenba QLD. The successful applicants will participate in an integrated team, including APS, military and contractor staff, to ensure the supported Electronic Warfare capabilities are delivered to the ADF and supported in accordance with operational and compliance requirements, budget, and service agreements.
