Within this role you will work across both Polperro Vineyard Dining and Many Little Bar & Dining in the heart of Red Hill , Mornington Peninsula.

Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to support the daily operations of our venue. The ideal candidate will have 2 + years of Food & Beverage Management experience within a similar styled establishment , excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a passion for the hospitality industry & providing exceptional customer service. This role offers great work life balance with a full time 4 day working week. Thursday - Sunday
Responsibilities:
Lead with courage, care & consistency and shoot for remarkable
Assist the Venue Manager in overseeing all aspects of the venue's operations, including event planning, staffing, and customer service
Manage , recruit and train venue staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the venue's offerings , our brand story and able to provide excellent customer service.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the venue and its events through various channels, including social media and email marketing.
Maintain accurate records of venue operations, including financial reports and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or events industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and policies.
