Synergy Events Group is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Audio Visual Technicians to join the technical team on an ongoing basis.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding person to this very important position. If you are an Audio Visual Technician with experience in working across multi venues then we would love to hear from you. The various events types may include: Corporate, Conferences, Wedding, Social Events, Festivals and Nightclubs.
The role of the Audio Visual Technician activities often includes:
- Maintenance, Setup, Packdown, Operating of Audio, Vision, Lighting and Stage equipment for rehearsals, sound checks, events, shows and live performances
- Oversee technical riders provided and event requirements for specific events
- Liaising with venues management, event staff and clients to ascertain precise event and technical requirements
- Provide technical advice, support and solutions for the client and events team
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Coordination and liaison with the sales and warehouse departments where required
- Ensuring company policies, insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to
An Audio Visual Technician is required to have:
- Excellent organisational skills and very high attention to detail

- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient ability to setup, pack down, use and maintain technical equipment
- Time‐management skills and the ability to work unsupervised and under pressure

- High standard of team work ethics and interpersonal skills
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years real work experience, with a high skill-set in audio, vision and lighting production. Experience with IT, MA2, HOG and audio digital consoles desirable.
