AV Media Systems is seeking a dynamic and skilled Lead Audio-Visual Technician to join our innovative team. As the Lead Audio-Visual Technician, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless audio-visual installations and projects. You'll be at the forefront of implementing AV solutions that redefine how people engage, collaborate and communicate . From corporate boardrooms to dynamic LED video wall installations, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of audio-visual excellence throughout Victoria.

We specialize in designing and delivering cutting-edge solutions such as large format LED video walls, video conferencing systems, digital signage, audio solutions, and commercial AV fitouts. This is a hands-on position requiring manual work, prior experience with installation of display screens, installed audio systems, control solutions and cabling. LED video wall experience is desired but not essential.
Key Responsibilities :
Working closely with our project managers and sales team to facilitate the efficient and professional installation of a range of cutting-edge Audio Visual equipment including but not limited to video conferencing hardware, display solutions such as projectors, flat panel large format displays and LED video walls.
Spearheading the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems while leading a team of technicians to ensure projects are executed flawlessly.
Staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies. Introduce innovative AV solutions that enhance user experiences and exceed client expectations.
Taking ownership of end-to-end on site project delivery including co ordination of commissioning and handover processes.
Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and expertise.
Position Qualifications:
Proven experience in audio-visual system design, installation, and maintenance including a minimum 4 years direct relevant experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a technical team.
In-depth knowledge of AV equipment, signal flow, and industry best practices.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction
