About the role
Pacific National is modernising its B2B platforms and services to help our customers reliably move freight at scale by ensuring we are easy to do business with, simple to use and all interactions are seamless. A Product Owner is required to cement the vision and provide direction to the project team to ensure that this vision is realised.
The B2B Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritising the features and functionality of the B2B product. This role works closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure the product meets the needs of the customer and drives business growth. The Product Owner works across all the stakeholder groups and acts as the ‘voice’ of our customers and our business.
Key accountabilities include:
- Define and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with our overall business strategy
- Define the product vision and goals
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Analyse product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Work with the PN business and project team to solve customers issues in a timely manner
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market trends
- Ensure the products delivered meets the needs of our business and customers
- Work with development and design teams to ensure the product meets technical requirements and has a user-friendly interface
About you
As a passionate customer service professional, you will have experience in a customer focused role and the ability to think outside the box and be able to provide strategic direction. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders, team members, and customers to manage expectations, communicate technical information in non-technical language, and collaborate effectively. Experience in B2B Product Management or experience in a related field is desirable.
Experience, skills, and knowledge to be successful in this role:
- 5 years plus experience working in a customer service role within freight and logistics
- Strong understanding of the target market and customer segments
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives
