Your new role As an Administration Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our client-facing teams across the Registry business unit. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Undertake general administrative duties including the collection and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying, collation and distribution of documents and correspondence, filing, scanning, and maintaining electronic records and information systems for the efficient operation of IM.
2. Coordinate the uploading process of received workers compensation claims, including maintenance of the relevant database, and resolve basic queries.
3. Provide routine advice, support, and assistance to the IM Team regarding workers compensation related administrative processes and procedures.
4. Maintain the Injury Management electronic mailboxes by responding to general enquiries relating to Team’s broad range of services and referring non-standard queries onto the relevant staff member within IM.
5. Coordinate correspondence from the Fund Administrator and close workers compensation claims on the database, on receipt of advice.
6. Assist in the maintenance of the Team’s internet and intranet pages by updating website information as and when required.
7. Maintain the confidentiality of all information, records, and data in accordance with Agency policy and procedures.
8. Provide administrative and clerical support to IM projects as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Administrative Experience: Demonstrated experience in an administrative support capacity, handling core administration tasks and systems.
Communication Skills: Well-developed communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders and address basic inquiries.
Tech Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Integrity: A commitment to discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
What you'll get in return
