- To provide administrative services to the business to enable supply of quality warehousing and transport services.
- To provide quality customer service focused administrative services, including reception.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective telephone communication with customers, in order to identify and rectify problems they have in relation to the Team Global Express Service.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison with personnel in other Team Global Express Branches
- Prepare accounts for distribution (storage and handling) for various customers.
- Relief Receptionist. This includes being competent in preparing daily airbags to be sent to other branches, directing Customers with pick up and deliveries.
- General Office duties, filing, telephone, computer etc.
- Actively support and participate in quality management procedures and practices.
- Assist to load daily imaging records into scanner.
- Perform archiving of records.
- Accurate and timely entry of Con-notes and Manifests.
- Review all documentation received to ensure all required information is included.
- Follow-up and obtain any missing documentation.
- Provide administrative support as required for the branch.
- Other tasks as directed by management.
- Actively participate in change management processes and improvement schemes
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB
Technical
- Numeracy.
- Literacy.
- Understanding of requirements for consigning dangerous goods.
- How to work safely in an office environment.
- Sound computer skills including excel reporting.
- Detailed knowledge of rating, charging and billing systems and procedures.
- Detailed knowledge and commitment to the service quality management services.
- Understanding of the Transport Industry and knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to role.
- Ability to determine resource requirements to meet plans and customer service requirements.
- Sound knowledge of all company platforms, programs, systems, and tools.
- Must demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality at all times.

- Understanding of the business of Team Global Express (and TGE as a whole) and its core business units.
- Understanding of the concept of providing a service to a client, in a third party contracted environment.
- The ability to see the inter-relationship of duties and responsibilities.
- A detailed knowledge on Team Global Express Policies and Procedures within Australia.
