About the role:
As the Bar Manager you'll be at the heart of creating an unforgettable bar experience that matches the delicious food we serve. We're on the lookout for a go-getter who's aced the art of running bustling bars, knows their wine and cocktails inside out, and is passionate about training and developing their team.
Experience & Skills:
- Passionate about people, hospitality, and experiences.
- Experience creating a diverse beverage menu that showcases cocktails, wine, and other beverages.
- In-depth knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits.
- Special interest or expertise in sake or Asian-inspired drinks is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a cocktail bartender and bar management in a high-end restaurant or bar.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Creative flair and a passion for mixology and beverage trends.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
- Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, day-time and evening services.
- Prior experience in developing and implementing training program for bar team is advantageous.
