Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, ensuring high-quality coffee beverages and exceptional customer service.
- Train and mentor casual barista staff on coffee preparation techniques, customer interaction, and business operations.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure freshness of coffee beans and supplies.
- Collaborate with management to develop promotions and events to enhance the business's appeal.
- Create and innovate new coffee recipes and specialty drinks.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisational standards at all times.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a head barista in Australia in fast-paced environments.
- A genuine passion for coffee with a proven track record of excellence in coffee preparation and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, producing high volumes of coffee without compromising quality.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Confident and comfortable running the Espresso Bar solo for part of the shift.
- Creative mindset with a knack for developing unique and innovative coffee ideas.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
