SUMMARY
Are you looking for a permanent part time role that will allow you to leverage your skills in administration, events, management, online marketing and customer service? This small local venue is looking for an eager new addition to their team. The role offers permanent part time hours and all the leave entitlements that come with such a role.
The Venue is a small recreational sports establishment located in Forrest, that caters to events, functions and regular sporting events. My client is looking for a candidate that can run the day to day operations of the business, whilst also coming up with creative new ideas to bring business to the establishment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure timely response to customer enquiries by phone and email.
- Booking and management of events and functions.
- Manage Bar inventory and venue supplies, and ordering of products as needed.
- Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers and distributors..
- Manage venue calendar and bookings.
- End of day procedures (closing tills and sales reports).
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patrons in the venue.
- Rostering of staff - Ensuring time sheets are sent to finance for weekly pays.
- Tapping Kegs and mixing drinks where required.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Responsible Service Of Alcohol.
- Self Motivation/Self Starter
- Responsible Conduct of Gambling or willingness to obtain.
- Microsoft Office, Outlook and administration skills.
- Certificate 3 in hospitality (desired but not essential)
- Prior Hospitality and or Bar Experience.
- Basic IT Skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
BONUS SKILLS BUT NOT A MUST
- Events Management experience (functions, birthday parties & corporate events)
- Online marketing experience
