Tumut River Brewing Co began in 2013 as the southern hemisphere’s smallest microbrewery with big aspirations. We have had our share of ups and downs in recent times but we're producing more beer than ever and are looking ahead an exciting 2024. We are in the process of opening a venue in Canberra and are seeking applications from experienced Bar Managers to work in our Kingston venue.
We'd love to see resumes from candidates who either bring extensive experience in Hospitality/Bar Management/Front of House Management roles or candidates with management experience in customer facing environments. The bar will offer Craft Beer on tap so knowledge of draught beer operations would hold you in great stead!
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- assisting in general venue management and supervision
- providing an outstanding customer experience to all patrons
- working closely with the kitchen crew
- be aware of and ensure compliance, including RSA, Food Safety and WHS standards
- perform general back-end tasks as directed including but not limited to; ordering, inventory control, stocktake, general maintenance, cleaning, rostering and overall process improvement
- support and oversee bookings, as well as special events and functions, as required
