Bar Manager

Royal Queensland Golf Club (Club) is the premier golf Club in Queensland and one of the finest in the Country, boasting the number one golf course in the State and a proud reputation of providing its Members and their guests with an outstanding level of service.

Located in Eagle Farm, our golf course, expansive practice facilities, and five-star food and beverage offerings provides our Members with the ideal environment to satisfy the joys of the great game of golf, whilst establishing new friendships through a wonderful camaraderie. 

The Club has a busy environment operating 7 days a week, 364 days a year. A wide range of hospitality offerings are available for our Members and their guests from daily lunch service to formal dining experiences and large-scale events such as the Australian PGA Championships.  We are currently seeking an experienced Bar Manager to provide support to our House Manager and leadership to our F&B Team.   

To be considered for this role, you must have a proven record in delivering quality service outcomes and showcase a leadership style that will foster and deliver a cohesive team approach to provide excellent service at the Club. This hands-on, operational role requires delivery of the Royal Queensland Golf Club standards from the team daily.

Applicants will possess the following key attributes:

• 3-5 years’ experience at a management level, ideally but not limited to a club/hotel/high-end restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership skills
• Displaying clear communication skills
• Experience training new staff
• Developing rapport with staff and customers/members
• Ensure daily food & beverage service meets Club standards
• Coordinate and deliver high class events and functions
• Identify and implement efficiencies
• Stock control
• Working in an efficient manner
• Good personal presentation
• Passionate and innovative
• Reliability, punctuality and organisation skills
