Are you an experienced HEAVY MACHINERY, capital equipment sales expert wanting to join an exciting business in a senior sales role? If you've sold gear such as excavators or other earthmoving plant and are looking for a new challenge in 2024, we want to hear from you!
This senior level sales position joins an established business selling heavy equipment into civil, construction, quarries and mining around NSW. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets
- Manage and grow the existing customer base and identify new business opportunities
- Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers and prospects
- Conduct regular product demonstrations and equipment presentations
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close deals
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences and events to promote the company's products and services
- Submit regular reports on sales activity, customer feedback and market trends
- ABOVE MARKET RATE SALARY OF UP TO $120k + super (depending on experience level)
- Fantastic commission structure, paid on every machine sold
- Diverse range of machines to sell

In order to be considered, candidates will come from a sales background from within the machinery sales industry.
Key candidate criteria are:
- Previous experience in a similar role selling capital equipment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Sales hunter with a tenacious approach to new business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
