As a prominent figure in the Profit for Purpose sector, our client is poised for growth and seeks a dedicated individual to step into the role of Team Leader. This pivotal position involves spearheading a team of behavioral support practitioners, providing invaluable guidance and expertise to ensure the delivery of exceptional services to NDIS-funded clients.

What you will bring to the role:

• Extensive experience mentoring BSPs or possessing leadership/management roles within the human services sector, including disability services, healthcare, family support, or similar fields.
• Completed degree qualification (or higher) in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related discipline – a mandatory requirement.
• A comprehensive understanding of good clinical practice, including familiarity with the regulatory requirements in Queensland and the operational context of Behavior Support delivery.
• Knowledgeable about contemporary practices and ideologies relevant to service provision for individuals with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities.
• Experience or familiarity with developing positive behavior support strategies tailored to individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments.
• Strong proficiency in administrative tasks and demonstrated expertise in utilising MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Additional Requirements:

• Right to Work in Australia i.e., Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa with permission to work 
• A current Blue Card 
• NDIS Worker's Screening Check, 
• A current and valid Driver’s License
