About the Role
You will be required to work a mix of AM and PM shifts Monday-Saturday, and some Sundays (very rarely and only for special events - see Hyrox).
You'll work closely with our Owners and Coaching Team to give the best possible experience to our members. This includes staying true to the delivery of the scientifically based BFT programming and the advanced heart rate system technology, while also personalizing the group sessions for individual members through appropriate modifications.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Manage all aspects of the studio
- Lead & coach high quality group-based strength and conditioning sessions on a daily basis (technique is king). Modifying exercises for members as per their individual needs
- Champion BFT’s scientifically based programming
- Excel in your delivery of the tried and tested BFT program, from ‘Talk Time’ to ‘Cool Down’ and everything in between!
- Manage the studio team and create an exciting/motivating team dynamic.
- Membership sales including actively seeking new Membership opportunities and the management of leads
- Sales management and tracking to support the growth of the business
- Working towards exceeding individual and club KPI's
- Social Media Management - generating a high-quality social media platform to market our studio and reflect our studio community
- Coordinating 8-Week Challenges
- Complete administration associated with memberships and general enquiries
- Ensure the studio is impeccably maintained
- Working closely with the owners to help drive studio performance and member satisfaction
- Driving community engagement and growth within the studio (includes; celebrating member milestones, assisting with Instagram and FB content)
About You
A BFT Studio Manager is the leader of our community. You are an integral part of each and everything we do and are critical to the growth of our member base. From making members feel welcome the moment they step in our studios or to motivating, inspiring and guiding them through our 50-minute workouts. Our Studio Managers play an active role in recruiting new members and retaining our existing ones. The BFT Studio Manager will use their knowledge, skills and abilities to teach safe and effective exercise at all times? and will use their great personalities to make BFT the best training experience anywhere!
- Clearly and confidently manage large, dynamic groups of members
- Enthusiastic to coach members and passionate about helping them improve with a strong knowledge of exercises, training formats, progressions, and regressions.
- Be super focused on growing and developing our community
- Willing to work a range of weekdays and some Saturdays and the occasional Sunday (rare and only for special events)
- Willing to hit and maintain the high standards required for BFT’s program delivery
- Eager to learn and grow with the Studio and BFT Brand
- Willing to work as part of a close-knit team and to support others in your team
- FUN and ENERGETIC (those early mornings can be tough to get going for some members!)
Skills and Experience
- Cert III and IV in Fitness (minimum)
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Group Training and/or Personal Training Experience
- Customer Service and Member Engagements Skills
- Strength and Conditioning Certificate (Desirable)
- Availability to work early mornings and evenings, Monday – Saturday (must be able to work Saturdays regularly)
