Join a fun marketing and bids team in the construction sector where the work is varied, your boss is lovely, and you can climb the career ladder
Why is this role for you?Sonia got promoted. Could you?
Sonia used to be our marketing/submissions coordinator, but she’s just been promoted into a more senior role.
Her story is proof that most vacancies here are filled from within – which means this could not only be your next job, but the one after that as well.
You probably want to know what it involves.
You’d be working on submissions/tenders using InDesign and creating marketing material for LinkedIn, the business development team and updating the company’s website.
You’ll be around a sociable team of 9 in the office (110 in the business) and your boss has been there 17 years (even doing this role herself at one point) so you’ll be looked after and will settle in fast.
All the staff love the yearly $300 subsidy to put towards their health and fitness hobbies each year and if you enjoy sport, it’s an office of cyclists, runners, swimmers, and footy tipsters so there is always something going on.
You may enjoy the quarterly events like axe throwing, meals out and bowling; the team likes to bond outside work as well as in it.
The office team is a diverse bunch and ages range from 17-year-old apprentices to 60+ year directors so the office conversation is never dull.
Initially, the salary is in the $85-$100k + super range, there is free parking nearby or they are a stone’s throw away from Pymble station if public transport is your thing.
If you want a new challenge working within the very diverse construction sector then this role is for you.
This sounds perfect, but what do you expect from me?
You don’t need to be the finished article to apply for this role as training is provided but you’d need to tick the 4 attributes below to be in with a shout.
- You are skilled using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- You can multi task and don’t mind the pressure of hitting deadlines
- You live within a 30minute commute of Pymble
- You can commit to office hours of 8.30 – 5.30 Monday to Friday
I’m intrigued, what’s the next step?
